Pitchr is operated by Rob Maddison (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use Pitchr.

Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide, including your name, email address, username, profile information, profile photos, business profile answers, messages, postcode or location-related information, subscription status, and support requests.

We may also collect technical information such as device type, app version, crash logs, diagnostics, push notification tokens, and server logs.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, verify email addresses, provide matching and messaging features, display user profiles, process subscriptions, send service notifications, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and provide support.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Pitchr, such as hosting, email delivery, push notifications, payment/subscription processing, analytics, crash reporting, and database infrastructure.

Profile information you choose to provide may be visible to other users of the app. Your email address is never shown to any other user. Your chosen user name is shown to users you are not connected to. Once you connect to a user, by default, they will only see your First Name and Surname. You can switch this full name reveal off in 'settings'. Your Postcode is never shared with anyone, we use it to calculate latitude and longitude which enables us to display how far (in miles) you are from another user. Your chosen password is fully hashed in the database and is not viewable by anyone.

Payments and Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription through the App Store, payment is handled by Apple. We may receive subscription status information, but we do not receive your full payment card details.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep account information while your account is active. You can request account deletion in the app or by contacting us at support@pitchr.me. We may retain limited information where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, backup, or dispute resolution purposes.

Your Choices

You can update certain profile information in the app. You can disable push notifications in your device settings. You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Pitchr is not intended for children under 18. We do not collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date when changes are made.
